Back around 2005 or so, some friends of mine, Phil and Steve, the geniuses behind thelittlestillnotbigenough band, came to me and asked, “hey nick, we like your beats, can we possess several of them?”. Or maybe it happened the other way around. Who knows. 2005 was a long time ago. Anyways, they began crafting a story around a collection of 11 or 12 beats. A story of a boy and his incredible transformation and escape from the physical, psychological and metaphysical shackles of a corrupt society. There’s psychadelic drugs and a jellyfish. My friends also went wild with the instrumental beats I supplied, bending them, adding to them, morphing them into slightly different forms. It’s quite epic in my humble opinion.
